Old 2 cylce fuel mix...

about a year and 1/2 ago I mixed up some fuel for my little stihl with quality stihl oil with stabilizer in it.

have not used it for over a year.

well, maybe, depending on how well yr Sthil is running, and how many tanks you plan to burn. Dumping it in a pre-emissions 40 sounds like a great plan: dilute any gunk, and lube an old engine!

Having spent $70 to get my Sthil weedwhacker going, a fresh batch of mix is cheap. I only use a couple tanks at a time.

We use it for torch fuel in our brush trucks. I would say it is prime time to have a bonfire.

Tech content: I have used old gas/oil for cleaning greasy tools sometimes but you may want to ensure that there is ignition source nearby. Or better yet don't do it at all...

Do Not use the fuel in your hand held power equipment, not even your Honda Line Trimmer.

(Fuel Stabilzer keeps the fuel from turning to varnish. It does nothing to preserve the octane of the fuel.)
