Selling complete 78 2F head assembly with valve cover. Came off a running 2F until I snapped the crankshaft. I can take a few pictures later today, but the intake and exhaust ports could use a good cleaning.

Asking $400 plus shipping.

Honestly, with a crank that broke in half, I wouldn’t post the head for sale until I’d pulled it to make sure nothing happened. It’s easier than backpedaling.

I had an‘advice’ call from someone on MUD with that exact situation involving a cylinder head within the last few weeks. It’s not hypothetical.

Good advice. I’m not 100% that the crank broke but I’m fairly certain at least the timing gear is broken. I can get compression in two cylinders when I turn it with the starter but the valves do not move at all. That would point to the timing gear right? Also, I never heard a loud pop either.
