oil vs coolant temp

just ordered a two channel temp sensor. one for egt and i got a fluid thermocouple for the second channel. i was wondering what would be a more useful temp to know. the factory coolant gauge is not that reliable, but im also istalling an espar heater next week and it might have a coolant temp display.

IMOP oil temp is not so important. If your EGT's and coolant are monitored that is all that I would worry about.

So I would read the water temp.

Agree EGT and coolant are most usefull, but if you have the opportunity, Im curious what g.box, t.box and diffs get up to?

There is a very simple and reliable gauge for checking this, put your hand on the vent if your hand get's hot then the vent is blowing hot air if it get's cold then the vent is blowing cold air!!

If you don't feel anything then the vent or heater is broken
