Oil Slinger on a 85 2F

Just a quick quiestion.

I am rebuiling a 85 2 F. Did Toyota remove the crankshaft oil slinger between the timing gear and the main pully? My 78 2 F had the oil slinger.

Yes, the oil slinger was deleted in later 2F's and all 3F.

Thanks Jim I knew someone on this board would know the answer. I spent 20 min. looking for the part. I thought I lost it in the parts washer. I looked at the SOR catalog and saw the part was only listed through 1980. But I wanted to make sure I was not missing something. Now I have the definitive word.
