I think I forgot to aim the slinger hole at the timing gear before I packed it all back together

Do I need to pull all this stuff off again? Or is oil slashing around ok without direct aim?

I know....sheesh...

Kind of like when I back out of the driveway and wonder if I locked the front house door.
Not near as much work but happens a lot more often.
