I have the rear diff all torn down and the oil slinger has apparently disintegrated. Is it a necessity or are there any suitable parts for its replacement. I am running on a tight schedule and I want to take the cruiser to the outer banks. I have no time to order as i leave friday and i have to rebuild the diff by then. I have all new bearings in hand. What should I do?

My guess would be,yes, it is essential or it would not be there in the first place. Get a new one. Try TPI next day.
