Oil Pressure Question (1 Viewer)

Sorry I know this question has probably been asked a million times before but what is a normal oil pressure reading for a stock 2f supposed to be? Just installed my new mechanical gauge today.

I get 58 or 60 PSI when I first start it up. Maybe 40 or so when cruising on the freeway, drops to 15 or so when it's warm(180 F), idling at a stoplight. I think it's been 5 years since my last rebuild...

my range has been 40-60. 40 while idling then up to 60 while cruisin. doesn't reach a whole lot past 60 and barely drops below 40 when rpm's are down. Is this bad or normal?? just wondering.

I have about the same 40-60 psi. When cold it's 60 & warm driving it's 60 . goes down to around 40 to 45 @ idle warm.. If it's really hot & slow going on the trails it's drpooed as low as 25 to 30 psi. this is on a 165000 mile engine. My buddy has a 74 fj40 & his readings are about the same.
