Ok, the oil pressure on my 13B-T has been consistently sitting around 55psi when fully warmed up at 55mph. Lately, It drops down to around 40psi, and stays there, at idle it will drop below 40psi. The oil level is good, just about full. The only thing that I can think of that I have done differently is switched to Mobil 1 full synthetic diesel oil 0w-40. I have a seperate oil pressure gauge, and the factory gauge shows a similar drop in pressure. Thanks.

syth oil flows easier than dino oil so the pressure can decrease, nothing to worry about pressure wise. at idle the manual states:
page LU2:
at idle 4.3 psi or more.

as for "loosening things up" unless the syth actually containes detergent then that will not change anything.
just before your next oil change add a can of seafoam to the crank case and drive for about 100 km then do a drain, this stuff is unbelievable when it comes to cleaning out the passages...

Where are you guys buying seafoam?? Everywhere I look/ask they have never heard of it...

Can't tell where you are located without digging up a map, so here in US Seafoam is available at most car parts stores, like Napa and Carquest.

Thanks. I'm in da great white north EH! ;p I'll ask again (we have both Napa and carquest here so one of them should be able to get it)
