I checked a gauge I have and the resistance was closer to 60 ohms but I was able to confirm it works with the light bulb method mentioned in my book.

The only sending unit I have currently is a universal aftermarket type and it reads 250 ohms @ 0 PSI, 175 ohms @ 40 PSI and 90 ohms @ 80 PSI but it doesn’t jive with the Toyota 1973 gauge I have here. I have pictures of this setup but because it doesn’t work I didn’t bother posting.

If anyone is interested in finding a combo that works and can let me know what OEM sender resistance range should be, send me a sender or let me know which one I need to buy I’ll keep trying for you.

I use mechanical Oil gauge on my Pig so I don’t have much floating around here.
