I just popped a 2F engine in my 72 FJ40.
My oil gauge ain’t working so we’ll.
Do I have the wrong sending unit?

I run a direct read oil pressure gauge in my 72. The original never worked right all the time even with a new sender.

The skinny nylon oil line to the gauge is inside a fuel hose at the firewall, plus I have a pipe plug to install in the block in case of nylon hose failure.

What sending unit did you use?

What sending unit did you use?

The sending unit that comes with the 2F engine, mounted under the oil filter.
(It’s new btw)
