replacing my pan today.

what do i need to torque the oil pan bolts down to?

33 in. lbs. as per FSM

I tighten them down till the cork just starts to pooch out the side....

I think that above torque value is wrong.

If I remember right, it is 69 inch pounds.

Please check before using the 33 in-pounds, i dont think thats anywhere near tight enough.

Just before it strips ha ha ha no really snug tight 1/2 turn more usually pooches gasket out
