I'm trying to remove the oil pan from my FJZ80 and struggling...

I have all of the bolts out:
4 17mm from bell housing
6 14 mm - 2 from under oil pan #2, 4 others
2 oil pump nuts
14 short 12mm bolts
1 long 12mm from the front corner

I can't get it to budge.

any hints?

hmmm FSM says 17 12 mm, don't know where others are...

There is a spot with a little clearance between the pan and block surfaces near the starter where you can stick a large flathead screwdriver in and pry it without damaging the mating surfaces.

Edit: There should be 4 bolts hiding behind the lower pan, not 2

Here, read this. And look at the photo of his box showing all the bolts he took out. That should be all of them, including the ones on the side and the ones around the AC bracket

Oil pan arch seal

are you talking about the spot right near the bell housing (where lower starter bolt is)? That's the only spot where I can pry and I'm not moving the oil pan at all.

I can see that the previous owner had the pan re-sealed at some point because there is a lot of sealant gushing out. But it's glued on good.

sorry, I didn't mention those, I removed the two in the lower part of the ac bracket.

figured it out... there are 6 17mm bolts that bolt the pan to the bell housing. After that, prying near the starter took the pan right off.
