I have a 12ht engine that has an oil leak around the oil pan seal. I changed the seal and the oil pan 3 years ago, now it is leaking again. Any one addressed this issue besides re sealing the oil pan? Anything else I can do?

are you sure it's the pan that is leaking? oil is not dripping down from a higher point?
you could put a straight edge on the pan and the block make sure everything is flat and flush it could also be the type of sealant you are using

Ok, it is a very small drip. Where else can this engine possibly leak besides valve cover gasket and main bearing seal? Thx

go get some leak detection dye. and some UV goggles and torch and you can find exactly where it's leaking ;)

I had spent the better part of last year cleaning and tracing down leaks in my 12ht. My culprits where the oil cooler gasket, intake gasket, and turbo seals. But my biggest one was the oil line that comes from the front of the crank case and feeds back into the main block. I found that I good degreaser and then 25 minute highway drive was enough time to barely start the leaks coming back. Also a headlamp helped shine back the oil when searching.
