Oil Leak from third outlet of exhaust manifold (1 Viewer)

I noticed that there was oil coming from the third outlet of the exhaust manifild. It starts to seep as soon as the engine warms up. Could this be rings or am i looking at a bigger problem. 1978 HJ 45 with a H 3.5 diesel motor.

I'd start by putting a nut and washer on your exhaust manifold stud in the picture. That will probably stop the exhaust leak that looks like an oil leak. It looks like you may also be missing the exhaust manifold gasket.

Apologies . I ran the engine like that for diagnostic purposes to see which cylinder its eminating from .Its actual oil thats spluttering out there. With it fully assembled the oil was accumulating at the exhaust gasket at the attachment to the manifold .
