I have a 2001 LX 470, with 340k miles on it. The previous owner did not fix the oil leaking from the oil pan. I had the Toyota dealership make the repair. The following parts were replaced by the Toyota dealership at 322k miles, September 17th 2021:
13568-09070 - Timing Belt
90311-A0001 - Seal, Type T Oil
90916-02586 - Belt, V-Ribbed
90311-38065 - Seal, Type T Oil
00295-00103 - FIPG Oil Pan
00272-12611-CL - Coolant
E5W20 - 5W20 Bulk Oil
90915-YZZD3 - Oil Filter
37110-6A610 - Shaft Assy
Now at 344K miles, the Toyota Dealership is saying the oil leak is coming from the Oil Pump seal. Yesterday, they said it was coming from the Cam Shaft seal they replaced and after removing the lower end of the motor, they saw it coming from the Oil Pump seal.
Has anyone seen this issue before? And after this is done, do you think the lower engine would seem to be rebuilt? Any other parts I should replace while the technician is in there?
