Working on my bumper. Haven't run the truck for more than about 30 seconds at a time after chopping off the resonator. It has not run for about a month or so.

I bolted on the bumper today and took it for a short drive to the store. Burned oil like crazy (white smoke) and a bunch dripped out of the exhaust for about 1 minute. It did quit burning oil on the return trip.

Example, there are droplets of oil on the bottom of the bumper.

Problem or normal after sitting for a while? I do not recall the rig ever burning any appreciable amount of oil before.

Actually it isn't oil, I think it is condensation picking up soot from inside the exhaust that used to be trapped behind the resonator and therefore not an issue. Does that make sense?

Yup, condensation, very common this time of year.

How'd the fake S/C whine? :hillbilly:

I seriously cannot tell a difference in the sound. I also have less high frequency hearing than I should due to some unfortunate demolitions incidents back in the Army so maybe somebody else could hear it!
