Hey guys, I'm looking for a 100 series truck to build some Ohlins Shocks for. Ohlins does actually produce a damper for the 100, but it is for a client in the middle east, and they won't import them... but I can get the important parts required to build them. Ohlins can be built in many different configurations, from basic up to full adjustments, rezis and PDS bottom out cups (hydraulic bump stops). Below is a picture of a set I built for my Tundra, they are full boat... they might not be the biggest, but they are the baddest shock out there.

dang, wish you were a bit closer

what's in it for the donor 100 if you don't mind telling.

EDIT: saw you already have a customer, will you be using a 100 just for mock up and testing then sending them over?

If your client is in the middle east he might have an HDJ-100 (solid front axle) or the IFS UZJ-100 with torsion bars. Do you know which one he has?

I think he meant Ohlins' client in the middle east that they produce them for and will not import into the US.

Looks as though you guys cleared up most of my babblings. :D

It can be anybody. What I want is someone that is genuinely interested and able to purchase a set. I don't want to build these and have them sitting on the shelf. There will be some discount off of retail for the first set only. PM me if serious.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it! :flipoff2:

Seriously, from knowing and owning Ohlins products in the past. My guess would around $1k per corner at a min.

I may be interested. I'm from western mass too, out there regularly. Are u the guy in Amherst doing Olin stuff for road course guys? I currently run OMEs. But know Olins well from rally, where they start at 2,200 a corner...

So did you find a taker for the prototype set? Final cost?

What size are the bodies? Thanks for getting back to me, and nice pic by the way.

Thats looks sweet! I loved how my ohlins performed on my old track car! Unfortunately all funds tied up until next year. :(
