also, i have unhooked the battery several times & never had to enter a code.

FWIW, ive disconnected my battery cables numerous times on my 97 LX and never had to enter a code either.

I never needed a code & it also looks like others have the codes you might need. I think it is a great deal for $25. Everything is in perfect working order.
