2 advantages over later shift handle:
- Has detents for D 3 2 L.
- Has simple pushbutton shift lock override.

Good point. Had a very similar shifter left over from a 1989 FJ62 5-speed swap and it was a floppy, loose POS, even with 1/2 the miles on it. Tossed it directly on the scrap trailer.

This FJ80 shifter operates like new.

Shifter won't work for later 95-97 electronic tranny with D 2 L ranges. The early shifter has D 3 2 L detents.
