Got into contact with a gentleman selling a Green 94 80 in Cookeville, TN. It is locked, has 230K and needs a front axle rebuild. No roof rack or running boards and the wheels have been painted black.
Not sure about the head gasket.
He isn't actively advertising it for sale, but said he would take $4,500 for it. Probably not the best deal but thought I would pass it along. He also has a parts vehicle that he is parting out.
I have pics that he sent me and would be happy to pass them along to anyone interested.
Also spotted a Green 94 on autotrader in Hockessin, DE. Locked with 197k for $3,500...that seemed like a pretty good deal.

My Yakima isn't necessarily for sale, but what are you looking for? ARB, Mule, Yakima, etc.?
The reason I ask is that I saw a Yakima Mega Warrior, like mine, plus the extender for sale in Charlotte on CL.

I like the Yakima for what it is (better than factory, but not as pricey as an ARB). I think the extension is a good idea for the 80 since it gives another 2 ft of length...

I need a transmission with transfer case for an 85 FJ60. I've already reached out to Belmont148 above, but am looking to see if anyone has one in my part of the state - I'm in Winston-Salem.
After 15 years of waiting to buy an FJ60, I finally did it 2 weeks ago. 4 days ago there was a pop (in reverse) that punched a hole in the transfer case. Arghh. From what I understand it will be cheaper laborwise to replace the transmission with a transfer case than to just swap the transfer case.

I do like the yakima. of course that one would need new landing pads. I am not looking to put a tire or anything really heavy up there though. Just some extra storage when we travel. wheeling supplies a little later though.
