Anyone have a good idea of where I might be able to find the "top hats" aka officially as Upper Mount of a coilover for a 2005 Toyota Tundra for a lot less than the $68/each new? Trusted junk yards, crap in your garage, etc? :)

For those of you who ordered the tjm kit, there's a coupon code for $20.00 off your next purchase at summit. it's on the packing list that came in the box

I bought one of the kits, could not pass on the price. Can never have enough good gear. The zipper on mine is also an issue, several spots where the teeth double up. I use my gear around here as well for stuff like fencing and moving hay etc. I am liking having three blocks now :)

I would not be surprised if someone buys up a bunch of them and you see them on E-bay a couple months from now for $100 more and it will still look like a deal.

BTW, for sticky or uncooperative zippers, apply a little bit of WD-40 to them. Run them back and forth and make sure the teeth line up. Wipe down the zipper afterwards so the residue doesn't get on everything.

Any details on the soft tops for an fj40? Color, style/maker, condition, cost? Thanks

The Petersiohn's 1FZ-FE is still for sale $400.00. The transmission is $200.00

There are apparently 3. I have seen 1. It is a Bestop. The bows are there somewhere. If you are interested I will see if I can get photos. They have been kept in the house not the out buildings

Thanks for the info, no photos needed, i am not interested in a besttop. Holding out for an oem-looking top. Cheers

Hmmm ... you'd think that there would be at least one pic of the selling point - diesel conversion

I thought that was odd too Sam
