Is it really that much? I currently have 285's that are flush with the body (without flares), and 315's are just over an inch wider than 285's.

At lower pressures, just about. Somewhat under 2” at pavement pressure. I just did some work on my 80 so while I was out there, inflated all four to 35 psi, put a straight edge from the ground up against the tires. 1.5” on both fronts, 1.25” on both rears. Before de-flare, front and rear were both well under the flares.

nice rig. What do you mean by this setup works for me?

Sorry, should have been more clear. The suspension is all factory stock so this setup might not be ideal if you intend to go off road as you might have rubbing issues. With a lift I assume it should be fine.

I drive it daily and pull trailer/Jet Ski's.
