I assume that Toyota used a standard numeration for the tyres (without exception for 9.00-15-6PR)

I also assume that the sand tyres have to be large and wide (on top of the special tread).

You can observe the difference to the standard 7.50-16

You can also google “9.00-15-6PR sand Tyre” and see that it’s not a vintage cookie

Haven`t found a 135-15X tyre in your list... but 125-15 X is ok too
the 135 section tyres give better performance on sandy surfaces.

I’m looking at buying a set of BFG all terrain 33x10.5R15s next week for my 1983 factory rims. I wish that BFG still made the 9.5” wide tire. I hope the 10.5s will fit my rims

You have mislabeled the Michelins in post #10... the first two pictures are the XL not the XS, the XS staggers the pattern 3 lugs, 4 lugs, 3 lugs, 4 lugs (depending on size it could also be 4/5/4/5/etc. .... the XL is always 3 lugs

you can see the XL labled as #2 in post #9 the XS is #3 in post #9

those BTW are some VERY expensive tires... well over $350 usd for the 7.50r16

i can get used 8.25r16 for about $223 a tire lol 70% tread

I’ll post this here for posterity - BFG has a KM3 M/T in 7.5R-16. The best part is, you get all the advantages of a radial tire, and can keep the “stock” look. You need to step up to a 16” rim, of course. but City Racer offers these. They measure out to be just over 30” tall on the truck and about 8” wide.

They sure should - but like most BFGs they run small - then put the weight of the truck on them and they measure out to about 30.5”

That’s the only reason I brought them up. I bought them to be a tall, skinny tire option but they’re not nearly as tall as advertised which makes them a nice reasonable size for the “stock” look.
