hmmm, I might be able to build you a reproduction set of the 170's when I get my truck back. I have later 175's with slots on both ends. PM me if interested.

I got 170 in two and four mounting holes, which type do you need. They changed between 70/71 I think.

I have some too JP.;)

I have some footman loops if you need them still. just let me know.
thanks

Footman Loops

If you don't need OEM footman loops, there's an outfit called strapworks.com that sells an excellent product and reasonably...as in $1.25 each when I bought mine in early '06. And they come powdercoated. I happened to match my red 40 almost spot on.

I needed six for the quarter panels, and can't tell the difference from the ones welded on the tailgate.

JP are you back home? I can sent you a couple of four hole #170s if you want, just send me an address. I just need to bring them back from up north.

You still looking for the #170? Iwas just up north where I have them stored for now. You'll have to wait until I go north again.

John I am still looking for the 170's; have you recieved any of my PM's? Sent you a couple a while back..... Thanks

What? You could make a pair in about 10 minutes with a vise and a dremel tool. Even if you made them out of 1/2" plywood they'd work good enough while you were looking for the real deal...

I found these in a junk yard but the screws were too rusted to remove and I didn't have power for the dremel to remove them.
