OEM or aftermarket hood lock Fj40 (1 Viewer)

Anyone know if this is an OEM Toyota hood lock or some aftermarket dealer installed option? Lost my original key so if it is truly OEM thought I could send it to the lock smith instead of removing my door lock cylinder. This came off a 72 FJ40 btw

I'm going to guess it is aftermarket and not factory. I've see hood latches but never seen a hood lock.
