My 94 came with locking differentials but the rotary switch was swapped for some military switch. The way it works now the front locks before the rear. Most of you trail guys say that is bad but what if I only use it for times I'm stuck in snow? Is it still bad?

Do yourself a favor and fix it!
Having the ability to go front then rear wouldn't be bad but if it's your forced option that would suck.
