OEM hard door weather seals - will '69-'72 seals fit a '74 door?

Spoke with Cruiser Dan yesterday - OEM hard door weather seals no longer avail for '73 -'74 fj40 trucks - he recommended I post and ask if anyone has ever used '69-'72 seals on a later model truck. Anyone? And, can anyone recommend a good aftermarket seal?

It will work. Be prepared for the door to be a LOT harder to shut in the beginning. The 73-74 w/s was much thinner than the earlier one.

I bought the 72 from Dan, I had to cut about 3 inches off, but they worked. It takes some muscle to shut the doors, but I'm hoping the seals compress over time.
