Did I miss the discussion about 0-20 < 5-30 < 0 - 30?
Wait...some of you guys are running oil OTHER than 0w20?

I'm kidding.

EDIT: I just got some AMSOIL 0W20 with no wait.

Im not even 1% as versed as some are here but i could tell the moment i lifted my hood 0W-20 was too thin for my engine.
Clickety clackety central, and i know the 3UR is supposed to be noisy. But even the vibration was greatly reduced.
I also can actually build oil pressure when i have my foot down.

I would suggest everyone at least give it a try, specially if you know what you are listening for.
But also, Texas. So if your up north then that is all relative. Still worth giving it a listen.

I'm a big fan of 5w30 too. Once I pass the mark for my extended warranty, I'm switching...immediately. I want TMNA to not have any reason not to honor their end of that contract.

Pallets of both Mobile 1 ($30/6qts) and Kirkland Full Synthetic 0w-20 ($30/10qts) at Costco.
Maybe. I haven't confirmed in person but this is from costco.com

Went to a local Mopar dealer yesterday to get fuel filters and they said that their supplier is limiting how much oil they can buy, a dealership with a service center, that's crazy.

Yep. Two toyota dealers here had zero stock in qts, use drums for the service. I ended up at the Lexus dealer and bought the Lexus oil. Guy there told me they are required to use the bottled qts. at the first 10k oil change on all new vehicles, after that it's the drum. Was reluctant to sell to me, but he did. I bought enough to do 2 changes.

Yea they are being limited on quarts, gallons and drums. They parts guy was reluctant to sell to me as well, but mentioned that he had a few more of each part so he was willing to do it.

This trucker strike that the lamestream media isn’t covering is going to make things even more interesting.

How long will you keep that/feel comfortable using after opened?
Probably use it in 3 years, sealed and stored in stable temperature to avoid condensation. Could seal with nitrogen if needed.

Did you buy Toyota genuine motor oil (tgmo)? Or is the bottle labeled Lexus oil?
