O.D. Off light blinking

Posted this on the 70 series list. Figured I would repost here. A friend of mine told me today he is having the same problem with his 80-series

"O.D. OFF" Light is blinking on the wife's KZJ-78. Stays lit when the O.D. button is indeed turned off, but blinks whent the O.D. is on. The Overdrive seems to work fine, just can't figure out why it's blinking. Any one know why it's doing this?

it could be oil temp sensor or the wiring is bad. check your fluid level as well.

I saw one time in the 80 section about OD off light blinking code .. I don't have the reference table .. but sure in the 80 section you can found it .. for A442F trannys
