the valley, yeah that one
seriously. now I know why I love my Vortec... had to go out to Man-it-aint-fre to get my knuckle kit and some brake lines. on the way back to the hood, I was doing 75MPH up that grade in fifth gear (stock 3.70 gears and 33s). with plenty to spare.
seriously. I love this combo.
just had to share.
look for the 4runner caliper/knuckle job/clutch hydraulics thread over the next few days or so.
rant over, cheers.

Are you going to put on a larger Brake master cylinder? I didn't on my 4 runner swap and it works good. We'll see what happens when i put on my 34 x 10.5 x 15 LTBS.

Oh, and my 62 envys your Vortec, so do I!

negative on the master cylinder. I also went with the 90-91 calipers as they seemed to be the best fit without grinding the caliper. also it looked like only certain post-91 calipers work? hole patterns were different on some of the later ones. (i had the parts guy grab ones for several years including stockers).
