Selling my 1976 FJ55
Runs good but needs some body work and misc. tlc
I have it posted on CL in Spokane, Washington
Asking $12,000 OBO
1976 Toyota Landcruiser FJ55, 162,520 original miles, Runs and drives great.
Straight 2F Straight 6 which, to the best of my knowledge has not been rebuilt. Mechanically the truck is in good condition. All windows work, 4wheel drive works awesome, no leaks or issues. Window washer works and all accessories less radio (no speakers) work well. Heater and blower work on high setting. Fun to drive.
I have completed the following work on this rig while I have owned it:
1. Rebuilt Transmission/Transfer case
2. Reconditioned drive line
3. Replaced tie rod ends
4. Replaced Wheel and Knuckle Bearings, new felt, gaskets etc.
5. New Alternator
6. New Troll Hole Carburetor (I still have original to be rebuilt)
7. Removed aftermarket AC
8. Replaced radiator
9. Rebuilt rear window motor (works great)
10. New Wheels, Tires, and hub caps
11. Brakes, e-brake, and hood latch all work great
The previous owner painted the truck, removed the rear heater (I still have original rear heater, not hooked up) and did some other cosmetic work. This truck has some rust issues in the usual spots and needs a new window leveler on the drivers front window. Windshield has a vertical crack from small rock chip (pictures don't show well). Drip rail and all chrome is in really good shape. All in all the truck is really solid and is running strong.
Please feel free to send me a message if you are interested.
