I had a call this morning from my previous employer about a job prospect in Dubai, UAE.

First thing I thought - "Would Shannon go?"

Second thing I thought - "What would I do with the 40?"

You'd leave the 40 with me as a parts rig cause by the time you came back the hobby would have totally changed.

Just think of all the LC parts you could scrounge over there. I really like the solid axle 105 series they get there. Maybe you could bring back a couple of front solid axles and we could convert some 100 series into wheelers? You know they still get brand new 1FZEs. And they have all kinds of turbos and superchargers available. You could hook up with that shek and get a ride in the world's fastest Land Cruiser.

I have to wait until Gabe in college before I go on another overseas adventure. And if we have another kid that only prolongs it further. But if we have a second kid when he/she is 5 we are going to Alaska for the summer!
