Saw a very cool new Unimog parked outside a local Marks Work Warehouse here in Langley, BC. It had dealer plates on it, and it looked brand new...so my guess is that it's being delivered to its new owners ready for work. Never realized how HUGE some of these things are. Just for a size comparison, I parked my BJ74 with 33" tires and a 2" lift next to it. WOW! The side view. I can just picture a custom aluminum camper on the back of that thing instead of a trayback. Where's that winning lottery ticket when I need it? The Meat! Rear axle with some funky finned contraption at the pinion flange. The famous portals...drool! Proof that this Mog is headed for a life of labour. Is this some sort of generator bolted onto the side of this monster? Rear shot: I wish the driver of this Mog was nearby when I was shooting the pics. I would have loved to have had a look inside and to chat about its specs. Beautiful piece of machinery. Thought I'd share. It was a chance for me to use my new Sony Cybershot DSC-T7 digital cam.
