1985 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-60

$16,000 obo $12,000 obo (hasn't sold for a month or so now and further reduced because it needs a carb fan apparently)

I acquired this truck in late 2016 from a seller in sw FL with 210k original miles. I rebuilt the engine shortly after purchase and have put 4-5k on it since the rebuild. Sitting at 215k now. Starts and runs strong. 4 speed manual transmission.

Previous owner did all the body work and got it looking good, new paint etc.

I put in new carpet front to back, with sound deadening for a quiet ride. I purchased the last set of seat upholstery available and it has all new seat cloth.

I am selling because I have 3 other 4x4 Toyotas and this one is not getting used.

What it needs:
- AC (i have been told it is a leak in the evaporator, it holds freon for a day and the compressor seems to work fine)
- Body work (top roof drip rail, driver left fender, small spots elsewhere)
- Radio and rear 6x9 speakers

What I have done already:
- Fuel Pump
- new BFG tires
- belts
- bilstein shocks
- starter
- power steering adapter
- power steering pump
- vacuum hose replacement
- rebuilt engine
- clutch rebuild
- knuckle rebuild
- water pump
- fluids
- added hitch with power
- brakes (front rotor caliper & pads, rear drums complete, all lines, brake booster)
- clutch master cylinder /clutch line
- new fuji carb / choke / tune up / gas lines
- rebuild distributor / recurve by jimc
- turn signal lens driver & passenger
- hood bumper bolts
- dome light cover
- antenna
- rear dome light
- front grill
- new license plate light cover (super hard to find)
- new carpet / sound deadening
- dashcover
- new seat covers
- window welt for front windshield
- weathertech floor mats
- front bumper

still available, however i need to replace the carb fan as it is having hot start issues. cold starts are perfect. can negotiate price accordingly

did you check the carb fan fuse? its hidden, and likely the culprit

Well, i read all the threads here I could find and it seemed to indicate the dome light fuse was the correct one. it was blown so i replaced. i have dome lights but no fan :D I also have discovered the relay/sensor that clips onto the manifold has gone missing so that explains a lot.

The seat covers were imported to city racer llc from argentina before things went bad there... pretty sure i bought one of the last sets.
