Hi all, 2001 LC here.
short version: When I start the car up, the only self test lights that come on are the battery, check engine, and active trac. Door ajar light too if you count that. What lights are supposed to come on? I know some lights are burnt out. Might not be using the correct terms as my searches didnt find anything and I couldnt find any youtube videos of the startup.
longer version: I have a few instrument cluster lights burnt out on my 2001 LC. The "D" is burnt out which seems common and doesnt bother me, but some other lights are suspiciously not coming on during startup like the ABS light and the parking brake light doesnt come on either. When my mechanic informed me about the ABS issue, he mentioned he sent the command to turn the ABS dash light on from his diagnostics tool and no dash light came on. Either it burnt out or the previous owner tried to hide something (which I suppose worked cause it made its way past me!). Now it makes me a little suspicious... The trim below the gauge cluster isnt tight so someone might have been back there at some point.
