Need an front upper shock bolt with bolts and washers for a 71 fj40 shipped to Nor Cal. Haven't been checking in here often, so please e-mail me at alex.j.t@sbcglobal.net. Need asap.

I just looked at what I have, the newer one for 77-84 is still available through Toyota, and cost about $12 through http://www.toyotapartszone.com/oem/toyota~pin~front~shock~absorber~upper~pivot~48521-36040.html, but can get it from MUD vendors as well, or locally, the only difference is that there is no hole for a carter pin on the shock side, otherwise identical, see pic, shinny one is off my 74 (used but refinished) yellow one is new and part number 48521-36040-Just a FYI

Thanks Tanker. I didn't know what changed. If the cotter pin hole is the only difference, I'll just grab one from Toyota. Thanks for the PN as well.

Just went to the dealer. they do not stock it and said it was unavailable.

pretty sure i have some here with the hole they are used ,probably no washers if you want one i will send it to you nc
