Noob intro - 74ish fj40 (1 Viewer)

Hello-

I’ve been lurking for awhile, reading the many posts of repair and fixing the ride. Picked up my first FJ, been wanting one for awhile. It seems to be a mix of years to make it body wise, and a few other mods with an automatic SBC conversion.

Anyways, I hope to be able to contribute and learn. Here are some early pictures:

Doesn't look like that much of a mix of parts. Turn signal are 75+. The bracket and pad on the hood that windshield rests on is 75+. The hook is still correct for a 74 which is what rest of the non aftermarket parts look like.

Does it have a electric water pump ?

Hood aprons have marker lights which are consistent for '74 as is the windshield. Not a biggy to swap to smaller rectangular lights, and rubber hood bumpers.

Or simply drive and enjoy it till the parts break or need to be replaced.

Yes it does
