Non-USA Distributor/Pertronix Installation (1 Viewer)

I thought that I'd post this since I had a dickens of a time getting the correct Pertronix Ignitor for my non-USA distripbutor. The part number that I needed to have is 1661. The box says it's for a 6 cyl Nippondenso dizzy. I hope that this helps someone in the future. It could have saved me a ton of frustration.

Was the frustration due to little if any clearance to put the Pertronix unit in because it was rubbing on the bolt that attaches to the back clip?

I too put a Pertronix unit in a non-USA distributor and didn't want to grind the nut off for fear of ruining things. Went back to points for the time.
