Started the troopie the other day and it ran for about a minute and then died. Tried to start it and it started and ran for a few seconds and died...So went to work the weekend and started to work on it today....I thought for sure it was not getting gas so I checked and gas is fine...Then went to the next possibe thing spark and the plugs, first checked the points and made an adjustment, and then checked the spark at the plugs and no spark....Next checked at the coil and no spark coming out of coil...Put a new coil in that I had as my spare and still no spark....I'm thinking maybe at the ignition switch......Any clues as to what else I should chek before I start replacing eveything.

Thanks in advance

James

Yes checked all fuses, I will go out later when it stops raining and recheck everything at coil and points.

Could be something as simple as your high tension wire?
