So today I was behind an 80 and seen they weren't running a rear track bar. What would the pros or cons of that be?

The panhard?

In a parallel 4-link you will destroy the rear suspension without the panhard. The panhard keeps the axle located side to side.

In a triangulated 4-link it is not needed because the triangulation in the upper and lowers is what keeps the axle located side to side.

Cheers

Bad idea unless triangulated suspension or leaf springs or something else going on

Everyone forgetting that the removal of any link completely increases flex. True wheelers are one link only maximum.

My motorcycle has one link, it flexes pretty well.
