Hi,
We're on the last meters of swapping the 1FZ-FE and transmission engine for 1HD-T and older transmission, a path that took slightly different turn than anticipated when we decided we needed to replace the electrical system also. Now we have the 1HD-T and transmission installed, the car starts and drives, but we have no power on head/tail lights. We believe we have wiring harnesses from a 1991 model and the truck is 1992 model (1FZ-FE + A442F) while the only wiring diagram we have is for a 1990 1HD-T.
The fusible links are OK and we're working our through the wiring harnesses but now things are getting more interested - leaving me with a question.
The pictures here below are from the 1990 WDM and actual installation of the Relay Block No. 1 - where it seems we don't have any Taillight Control Relay.
Is anyone here familiar with the differences of the electrical systems / harnesses in the 1990 to 1992 model trucks? Where would the control relay for the tail lights be installed in a 1991 model?
