Just purchased a Honda S2000 but dont have plates so cant drive it back. Looking for someone with a trailer to assist with moving the car from Queens, New York to Gaithersburg, MD. Would like to do this sometime within the next few days. Thanks!

See if you can get a temp tag. In most states you can drive 15-30 days on a bill of sale. Just get insurance and drive it.

Maryland is a pain - they want the title first, before they will issue temp tags. Driving through NYC, Philly, and Baltimore without plates seems iffy - doubt ill make it without getting stopped a bazillion times.

If you are buying from a dealer in NY he may be able to issue a temp tag. An individual have him leave his tags and mail them back. I have done both.
