No campout Nov 19th (1 Viewer)

Some of us have talked about a drive, hike and campout in Bankhead forest the 19th, but things just aren't working out for it to happen. With no rain the creeks are dry and we hate camping without a campfire. So let us put this on hold and wait for a better time.

That's probably for the best. It's been extremely dry up here in the forest, it's like a tenderbox. Makes me nervous to even fire up the grill with the leaves and all.

Hopefully the forecast of a mid November weather pattern change holds true

Yep as soon as we get rain for a bit and the creeks get flowing again we will reschedule.

It's cloudy up here, but not even a drop yet. I was hoping we'd get a good soaking from that system over Mississippi.
