Missing the louver on the left side of the cowl meant pre 72 model. The side marker lights started with the 70 model. That is how I narrowed it down to those two years.

Not going to read thru the whole thread but the little I looked at makes me think it a 71 model. Not 100% sure what month Toyota considered the 71 model started but the brake booster was 7/70. The front passenger's seat is a 71/72 only. SOR listed it as only 72 model but every 71 I've seen had the small middle section in the back of seat. Beside the 71 seats I bought off a mudder years ago and the 71 I parted out years ago I have stripped emission parts off 71s that had these sents. Maybe not really emissions parts but the skid plate that protected emission tank in the right side rear wheel well. I have a planned use for those.
 
It is an 8/'70, titled as a '70. It has the original seats, as well as all of the the related emissions parts. Here is a better pic:
