Poor Mitch. He built a beautiful 80 for the trip and it blew the diff at the beginning of Kokopelli on Rose Garden Hill. We will pick him up tomorrow on the way to the Landcruiser Heritage Museum and he will be in Moab a few more days after. Luckily Bart saved the day once again by sourcing a new third Member online that was Fedexed to Moab Motorsports overnight. They can complete the repair by end of Saturday. Damn good thing Bart had a back up plan.

Steve's Taco is parked suspiciously close to that frame straightening rack....like it's awaiting Mid-Evil treatment.

Best joke you've had this trip.

Looks like quite a trip!!!
It isn't the first time nor will it be the last...but it can only be described as TOTALLY EPIC.

What were the circumstances around the diff exploding? OEM or after market ring and pinion?

2003 Taco, lot of bouncing and wheel spin, trying to climb a ledge on Rose Garden.

Spinning rear wheels bounced up...came back down...and the diff made a very unfriendly sound!
