Newer '79 springs on a earlier 40? (1 Viewer)

Anyone know if this works if you trim them down.. I have a set off an '84 and have gotten some questions about whether they'll fit on 60s and 70's era FJ40s.. Thanks, Andre

There was a change to the springs/bushings at some time around 79 or 80. Not sure of the exact production date for the change but my 2/79 FJ40 uses the same spring and bushing dimensions as the early 1960's to 1978 FJ40s.
