Hello all - have a 40 and just traded in my 100 for a 200 , so thsi is my first post on the 200 board. I bought a '13 certified with 53k so i've got about 11k miles of warranty on the little things

Bought my '00 in '03 with 51k on the clock for $26k and put 170k miles on her and spent just over 8k in maintenance / repairs (the new tranny hurt bad!). Fascinating to me that 14 years later a comparable truck with the same miles is $20k more! I hope she'll treat me as well as the 100 did. She sure drives better!

Learned quickly today that the rain sensor wipers dont work - found a thread on that that says to disconnect it - seems its hit or miss on how well it works.

One question I do have is...I read the manual on the nav about 4 times and cannot figure out how to keep the screen from always returning to the nav/map screen after 20 seconds of driving. In my day to day driving, I change the radio station a lot more than I need the map and its just one more step to have to press audio, then search the stations. Is there a way to stay on the screen you are on until until you select another screen? Driving me crazy! I hope this is simple / doable, but I searched but couldnt find anything.

I think there's a virtual button somewhere in the interface that says "Auto" that causes the screen to flip to/from other screens? Not 100%, if you don't get it figured out I'll try and take a look in the AM.

Just a thought of one other option you might like...

If you don't really need the map...you can just turn off the screen.

On my 2008, it's Display button...Screen Off.

This way it just comes on when I make other input adjustments like climate, radio, etc.... and then turns off again.

iirc it's the Screen Transition setting.
