Hello everyone,
I am new to this whole forum thing so if I do something wrong please let me know, I'll be sure to not care!
I finally got the fj80 I've been wanting for about 10 years now, My parents bought this rig and garaged it cause it "cost" to much, well I finally worked out a great price and ran with it. This rig has been pampered, the most dirt its seen has been the dust from the garage to the gas station.
First thing I did was replace the worn out michelin it came with (ran BF goodrich all terrain), and the steering damper (Pro comp), Made a difference in the world. I am now in the process of working with exhaust and some sort of intake, if anyone has opinions on this please shoot them my way, this is why I am here. I appreciate all the help I can get!
I have taken the rig to prairie city which is a state park for wheeling it did awesome, but really was just a walk in the park. I am looking forward to headup to silverfork which is up towards Lake Tahoe National forest, can't wait for deer season to open up!
