Hello everyone,
I am new to this whole forum thing so if I do something wrong please let me know, I'll be sure to not care! I finally got the fj80 I've been wanting for about 10 years now, My parents bought this rig and garaged it cause it "cost" to much, well I finally worked out a great price and ran with it. This rig has been pampered, the most dirt its seen has been the dust from the garage to the gas station.
First thing I did was replace the worn out michelin it came with (ran BF goodrich all terrain), and the steering damper (Pro comp), Made a difference in the world. I am now in the process of working with exhaust and some sort of intake, if anyone has opinions on this please shoot them my way, this is why I am here. I appreciate all the help I can get!
I have taken the rig to prairie city which is a state park for wheeling it did awesome, but really was just a walk in the park. I am looking forward to headup to silverfork which is up towards Lake Tahoe National forest, can't wait for deer season to open up!
Well, again, I'm the newbie in town and will be in touch with the progress I have with the rig, please drop comments, thanks again!

Welcome,
Sean

Cool steps. I had those on my truck when i bought it. One trail ride and they were done for!!

Nice truck.

Nice rig, and Welcome! That 3FE still has another 200,000 left to go before you'll hafta mess with much!! 3FE POWA!!! I will be the first to tell you...we call that brushguard you have on the front a damage multiplier. I would remove it or you will find out why when you can't stop that beast!

These bars are eventually coming off, I bent one already at prairie city.

The front grill will come off as well, that ARB is just costly at the moment but its in the works.

welcome aboard. now start building it! :flipoff2:

Stock intake - stock exhaust. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Not much to gain from these mods.
