newbie question about grill (1 Viewer)

HI

I'm just getting into LC's and I was wondering if you could replace the front grill of a 97 with a grill from a 92 or 93. I like the toyota emblem going across the front.

I look forward to learning a lot more about LC's by going through this site. Thanks for all the useful suggestions.

The Sombrero to "Toyota" swap is a straight swap. The items you will need for a proper swap is the :

Grill, grill bracket, headlights and lower valence.

You can make the "Toyota" grill fit by grinding away a bit to fit the headlights, but you won't be able to use all of the mounting holes. You can also do without the lower valence, but there will be about an inch gap at the bottom and bottom corners.
