Greetings all,
I was extremely lucky to purchase a almost stock 81 FJ60 with low miles! However...
It has been in storage for the last 11 years. Essentially anything rubber is in need of care.
I am not sure the "mechanic" who last "worked" on this truck since some vacuum lines are just missing or seemed to be plugged in to the wrong places.
I have had trouble starting the beast, and until I fixed the latest glaring vacuum hose mystery it would not accelerate above 30 mph.
Here's today's fun:
I am replacing spark plugs, wires and rotor and noticed one hose not connected, an open port on some sort of valve, and a hose that I think is connected in the wrong location!
Any help appreciated!

Thanks!
I am really excited about this truck but need some help.

That is the distributor evacuation system that keeps ozone and moisture from building up inside the distributor. A good thing to have operational.

The attached file will show you how it is supposed to be hooked up.
